Dave Lewis

Journal Writing Specialist

Dave has been a professional TV, magazine, newspaper, book, and marketing writer for over 30 years. His deep understanding of the power of the word has led him to compiling over 100 personal journals that have provided a pathway to healing during major traumatic life events like: death of a parent, divorce, and the loss of a best friend, to name a few.

My true calling is journal writing. I understand the impact of doing morning pages, creating a dream journal, food journal, gratitude journal, an art and visual journal and a trigger journal. The beauty of journaling is that you can do it anywhere, anytime and on anything (even on your iPhone). There are no rules except to empty your mind and allow yourself to heal through putting pen or pencil to paper. As William Wadsworth once said: “Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart.”

I will create a safe space to learn about the benefits of journaling through practice and sharing.

Description:

This 8-week course (60-75 minutes) will take you on a journaling journey to help you unlock your true essence. Experience the power of putting words down on paper that will help express your true inner feelings that may have been buried for months, years or even decades.

In this group setting you will learn how to journal, and where to journal. No matter what level of experience you have, you will benefit from the in-course journaling, sharing what we have written based on that week's topic.

All you need is a journal or pad of paper, a writing utensil, and an open mind. Join us and feel the power of connection through the word.
