Online Mindset Coach
A mindset coach works with people to keep a positive, growth-focused mindset. We work with members to find limiting beliefs, negative thought habits, and self-sabotaging behaviors that might be stopping them from reaching their goals.
Our Pomona mindset coaches may use techniques like cognitive-behavioral therapy, positive psychology, and mindfulness to help their clients reframe their thinking, change their perspective, and create a more resilient mindset. They may also help clients set realistic goals, make action plans, and hold them accountable while giving them support.

Mindset Coaching & CBT
Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is used to help persons who have unfavorable thought patterns and behaviors. Our mindset coaches are on hand in Pomona to assist you in recognizing patterns and altering your perspective on the environment and yourself in order to get a more desirable result.
Cognitive therapy starts with the premise that our ideas, feelings, and behaviors are all interconnected and that having negative thinking can result in having unpleasant emotions and having poor behaviors. Your mood and behavior may be improved by the more optimistic and realistic beliefs that our coaches will help you recognize, confront, and replace.

Changing you negative thought pattern
Did you know that negative thought patterns is habitual ways of thinking? This self-defeating behavior can contribute to how you view yourself and the world around you. These patterns may include;
Catastrophizing - this involves expecting the worst possible outcome in every situation and assuming that any problem or difficulty will have disastrous consequences.
All-or-nothing thinking - this involves viewing situations in black-and-white terms, with no middle ground or shades of grey. For example, thinking that anything less than perfection is a failure.
Overgeneralization - this involves making sweeping conclusions based on a single negative event or experience. For example, assuming that a single rejection means that you will never find love.
Personalization - this involves assuming that everything that happens is a direct result of one's own actions or shortcomings, even when there is little evidence to support this belief.
Negative self-talk - this involves a pattern of critical and self-defeating thoughts and beliefs about oneself, such as "I'm not good enough" or "I'll never be successful".
Avoidance - this involves avoiding situations or activities that may trigger anxiety or discomfort, which can lead to social isolation and a lack of fulfillment.
Through mindset coaching online and in the Pomona area, we will help you address these issues through additional resources, such as self-help strategies, mindfulness, meditation, and journaling. By identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors, you can develop more positive and adaptive ways of thinking and behaving, leading to a peace.
Self-talk coaching for the negative
The goal of negative self-talk coaching is to address negative self-talk habits that may underlie mental health problems including anxiety and depression. People who engage in negative, critical, and self-defeating internal dialogue or thoughts about themselves are said to be engaging in negative self-talk. This kind of thinking can cause feelings of worry, hopelessness, and low self-worth.
At YANA, our life coaches assist you in addressing self-deprecating attitudes and beliefs as well as challenging them. By doing this, you can catch yourself talking negatively to yourself and test the veracity of those beliefs. We can support you if you feel "worthless" or "unlovable."

Module for Journaling Thoughts

Identifying negative thoughts, confronting bad thoughts, and replacing negative thoughts with happy thoughts are common phases in journaling thought modules.
Members are urged to identify negative thoughts and beliefs that are contributing to their distress in the first phase. This can be accomplished by recording unpleasant ideas in a journal or on a piece of paper.
Members are encouraged to challenge their negative thoughts in the second step by asking oneself questions like "Is this thought true?" and "What evidence do I have to support or contradict this thought?" They could also be urged to think about other reasons for the scenario or incident that is creating the negative thought.
You are urged to replace negative thoughts with more optimistic and adaptable ones in the third step. Writing down positive affirmations, reframing negative ideas into positive ones, or simply focusing on the good parts of a situation can all help.

Coaching Mirroring Techniques
Mirroring is a technique used by our Pomona coaches to ensure that members feel heard and understood. Mirroring entails nonjudgmental and supportively mirroring back the client's words, tone, and body language. This can make the client feel noticed, affirmed, and heard.
A coach may use language like "It sounds like you're feeling...", "I hear that you're saying...", or "What I'm hearing is..." when mirroring a client. This allows the therapist to indicate that they are actively listening to the client and attempting to understand their experience.
Mirroring can also be utilized to assist clients in gaining understanding of their own ideas and feelings. Clients may acquire a new perspective or a deeper understanding of their own experience by hearing their own words mirrored back to them.
