A mindset coach helps individuals develop and maintain a positive and growth-oriented mindset. We work with members to identify limiting beliefs, negative thought patterns, and self-sabotaging behaviors that may be holding them back from achieving their goals.

Our Gilbert mindset coaches may use a variety of techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, positive psychology, and mindfulness to help their clients reframe their thinking, shift their perspective, and develop a more resilient mindset. They may also help clients set realistic goals, develop action plans, and provide accountability and support along the way.

Overall, our goal is to help our clients overcome mental barriers and achieve their full potential by cultivating a positive and growth-oriented mindset.

Mindset Coaching & CBT

Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is what we use to help people change their unhelpful ways of thinking and behaving. Here Gilbert, we have coaches who specialize in helping people change their mindsets to achieve better results.

Cognitive therapy is predicated on the idea that our ideas, emotions, and actions are all interconnected, and that negative thoughts can have a domino effect on our other mental and emotional states. Our coaches will instruct you on how to recognize and counteract such destructive ideas, and how to substitute more productive and reasonable ones.

If you've struggled in the past with mental health issues like anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, or an eating disorder. Possible connection

Changing you negative thought pattern

Did you realize that negative thought patterns can become habitual? This self-defeating behavior can have an impact on how you perceive yourself and the world around you. Among these patterns are;

Catastrophizing is the practice of anticipating the worst-case scenario in every situation and presuming that every problem or difficulty will have devastating results.

All-or-nothing thinking entails seeing events in black-and-white terms, with no gray area or shades of gray in between. For example, believing that anything less than perfection constitutes failure.

Overgeneralization occurs when broad inferences are drawn from a single unpleasant incident or experience. Assuming, for example, that a single rejection means you will never find love

Personalization is the assumption that everything that happens is a direct result of one's own deeds or flaws, even when there is little evidence to support this belief.

Negative self-talk is characterized by a pattern of self-defeating and critical thoughts and attitudes, such as "I'm not good enough" or "I'll never be successful."

Avoidance refers to the avoidance of circumstances or activities that may cause worry or discomfort, which can lead to social isolation and a lack of fulfillment.

We will help you address these challenges through additional tools such as self-help practices, mindfulness, meditation, and journaling through mindset coaching online and in the Gilbert area. You can build more positive and adaptable ways of thinking and behaving by identifying and confronting negative thought patterns and behaviors, which will lead to peace.

Getting counseling for Negative Thinking

Anxiety and depression can be exacerbated by negative self-talk patterns, which is why some coaches focus on this area in their practice. People engage in negative self-talk when they have critical, destructive ideas and dialogues with themselves. Negative emotions like shame, helplessness, and panic may result from thinking this way.

When you work with a life coach at YANA, they will help you combat destructive patterns of thought and belief. The point is to catch yourself when you're being negative to yourself and to start questioning the veracity of your beliefs about yourself. We can help you overcome feelings of being "worthless" or "unlovable."

We'll show you how to combat destructive mental habits and boost your health.

Module on reflective thinking

Journaling thought modules are a form of cognitive-behavioral therapy technique used to identify and challenge negative thoughts and beliefs. The purpose of this technique is to help individuals transform their negative thoughts and beliefs into more positive and adaptive ones.

Typical thought journaling modules consist of three steps; identifying negative thoughts, challenging negative thoughts, and replacing negative thoughts with positive ones.

In the first stage, participants are encouraged to identify the negative thoughts and beliefs that contribute to their distress. This can be achieved by writing down negative sentiments in a journal or on a piece of paper.

In the second phase, members are instructed to challenge their negative thoughts by asking, "Is this thought true?" and "What evidence do I have to support or contradict this thought?" They may also be asked to consider alternative explanations for the situation or occurrence that is triggering the negative thought.

In the third phase, you are encouraged to replace negative thoughts with those that are more positive and adaptive. This may involve writing positive affirmations, transforming negative thoughts into positive ones, or simply concentrating on the positive aspects of a situation.

Individuals seeking to surmount negative thought patterns and improve their mental health and well-being may find journaling thought modules to be a useful resource. By identifying and challenging negative thoughts, people can develop more positive and adaptive methods of thinking, resulting in greater happiness and resilience.

Methods of Mirror Coaching

Mirroring is a technique used by our Gilbert coaches to ensure that members feel heard and understood. Mirroring entails nonjudgmental and supportively mirroring back the client's words, tone, and body language. This can make the client feel noticed, affirmed, and heard.

A coach may use language like "It sounds like you're feeling...", "I hear that you're saying...", or "What I'm hearing is..." when mirroring a client. This allows the therapist to indicate that they are actively listening to the client and attempting to understand their experience.

Mirroring can also be utilized to assist clients in gaining understanding of their own ideas and feelings. Clients may acquire a new perspective or a deeper understanding of their own experience by hearing their own words mirrored back to them.

Overall, mirroring is a method that can assist create rapport and enhance relationships between coach and client. It can also make participants feel more at ease communicating their thoughts and feelings, which can lead to more insights and progress in treatment.
