Our Fresno mindset coaches may use techniques like cognitive-behavioral therapy, positive psychology, and mindfulness to help their clients reframe their thinking, change their perspective, and create a more resilient mindset. They may also help clients set realistic goals, make action plans, and hold them accountable while giving them support.
Overall, our goal is to help our clients get past mental blocks and reach their full potential by helping them develop a growth-oriented and positive attitude.
Mindset Coaching & CBT
Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is used to help persons who have unfavorable thought patterns and behaviors. Our mindset coaches are available in Fresno to assist you in identifying patterns and changing your perspective on yourself and the world in order to achieve a more desirable outcome.
Cognitive therapy is based on the premise that our ideas, feelings, and behaviors are all interconnected, and that unpleasant thinking can lead to negative emotions and behaviors. Our coaches will assist you in identifying and challenging these negative beliefs, as well as demonstrating how to replace them with more positive and realistic ones, which can enhance your mood and behavior.
If you have a history of anxiety disorders, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), or eating problems, you should not use this medication. Changing you negative thought pattern
Did you know that negative thought patterns is habitual ways of thinking? This self-defeating behavior can contribute to how you view yourself and the world around you. These patterns may include;
Catastrophizing - this involves expecting the worst possible outcome in every situation and assuming that any problem or difficulty will have disastrous consequences.
All-or-nothing thinking - this involves viewing situations in black-and-white terms, with no middle ground or shades of grey. For example, thinking that anything less than perfection is a failure.
Overgeneralization - this involves making sweeping conclusions based on a single negative event or experience. For example, assuming that a single rejection means that you will never find love.
Personalization - this involves assuming that everything that happens is a direct result of one's own actions or shortcomings, even when there is little evidence to support this belief.
Negative self-talk - this involves a pattern of critical and self-defeating thoughts and beliefs about oneself, such as "I'm not good enough" or "I'll never be successful".
Avoidance - this involves avoiding situations or activities that may trigger anxiety or discomfort, which can lead to social isolation and a lack of fulfillment.
Through mindset coaching online and in the Fresno area, we will help you address these issues through additional resources, such as self-help strategies, mindfulness, meditation, and journaling. By identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors, you can develop more positive and adaptive ways of thinking and behaving, leading to a peace.
Getting counseling for Negative Thinking
Anxiety and depression can be exacerbated by negative self-talk patterns, which is why some coaches focus on this area in their practice. People engage in negative self-talk when they have critical, destructive ideas and dialogues with themselves. Negative emotions like shame, helplessness, and panic may result from thinking this way.
When you work with a life coach at YANA, they will help you combat destructive patterns of thought and belief. The point is to catch yourself when you're being negative to yourself and to start questioning the veracity of your beliefs about yourself. We can help you overcome feelings of being "worthless" or "unlovable."
We'll show you how to combat destructive mental habits and boost your health.
Module on keeping a journal
Journaling thought modules are a type of cognitive-behavioral therapy used to help people find and question their negative ideas and beliefs. The goal of this method is to help people change their negative thoughts and ideas into ones that are more positive and useful.
Most journaling thought modules have three steps; finding negative thoughts, challenging them, and changing them with positive thoughts.
In the first step, members are asked to figure out what bad thoughts and ideas are making them feel bad. This can be done by putting negative thoughts in a book or on a piece of paper.
In the second step, members are taught to question their negative thoughts by asking themselves things like, "Is this thought true?" and "What evidence do I have to support or refute this thought?" They may also be asked to think of other ways to explain the situation or event that is making them feel bad.
In the third step, you are told to replace your negative thoughts with ones that are more upbeat and helpful. This can be done by writing down positive affirmations, changing negative thoughts into positive ones, or just focusing on the good things about a scenario.
Overall, journaling thought modules can be a helpful tool for people who want to stop negative thinking habits and improve their mental health and well-being. By noticing and questioning negative thoughts, people can build more positive and flexible ways of thinking, which makes them happier and stronger.
Coaching Mirroring Techniques
Mirroring in is a technique our Fresno coaches use to help members feel heard and understood. Mirroring involves reflecting back the client's words, tone, and body language in a non-judgmental and supportive way. This can help the client feel validated, seen, and heard.
When a coach mirrors a client, they may use phrases such as "It sounds like you're feeling...", "I hear that you're saying...", or "What I'm hearing is...". This allows the therapist to demonstrate that they are actively listening and attempting to understand the client's experience.
Mirroring can also be used to help clients gain insight into their own thoughts and feelings. By hearing their own words reflected back to them, clients may be able to gain a new perspective or understand their own experience more deeply.
Overall, mirroring is a technique that can help build rapport between coach and client and improve the relationship. It can also help members feel more comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings and may lead to greater insights and progress in therapy.
